20060611 - Chester

We spent most of this week in Chester, New Jersey with my brother Steve, his wife Sally, and their boys Scott and Dave. Chester is a very pretty town: lots of beautiful big old east coast houses. While we were there I spent a couple of the days window shopping for quilt fabric, one day walking through the downtown area of Chester, one afternoon visiting a friend of Sally’s (who is a quilter and showed us some of her very lovely quilts), one day taking Sally to Pennsylvania so she could hike on the Appalachian Trail (She is hiking the trail in pieces), one evening attending a birthday party for one of Steve and Sally’s neighbors, and a lot of time visiting with Sally, Steve and the boys. In the meantime Max had a great time playing with his girl cousins Josie & Haley.
