Las Vegas (4/17/2005)

This week we left Tucson, spent a couple of days in Buckskin Mountain State Park and are now in Las Vegas, NV. Buckskin was beautiful (see the photos below). While we were there we drove to Lake Havasu City (more pictures below). We are now in a very nice RV Park near the strip in Las Vegas. The park has beautiful 'adults only' and 'family' swimming pools. They have many other activities, including socials, games, cards, beading, stamping, movies, and yoga, but no sewing. Luckily for me one of the local quilt fabric shop has machines that they let the public use, so I will be able to work on my quilts-in-progress.
The park has a shuttle to the strip, but we have not used it yet. Friday night the Park hosted a barbeque with a live country western band. Saturday I did laundry and gave Max a bath. He is so handsome when he is freshly bathed. I need to bathe him more often. Today we bought and installed a XM Radio receiver for the truck and the rig. As of now we have national digital radio and we are on our way to have national TV service. I've gotten the Dish to work 3 times in a row, now all we have to do is get one of the national stations and we will be all set. Tomorrow is Rich's birthday so we will going to the Paris Casino for dinner to celebrate.
We will be here in Las Vegas for the two weeks, then we'll be heading to
Pahrump NV, S Lake Tahoe NV, Pleasanton CA, Leggett CA, Oregon Coast OR, Bullards Beach OR, Beverly Beach OR, Newberg OR, and Bothell WA.
