20060219 - Crystal River (We see a great Florida housing development)

This week we are back in Rock Crusher RV Park in Crystal River. I am still not feeling totally up to snuff, so I had a pretty lazy week. I still have my cough and I am still taking the antibiotic which makes me feel yucky. I groomed Max, he is now the proud owner of a very short haircut. This week Rich and I also went to look at model homes near here. We saw a very nice development ‘Terra Vista of Citrus Hills’. They have some really cool amenities: 4 clubhouses, 3 Championship Gulf Courses, 2 Tennis Centers, and a luxurious Spa and Fitness Center. They also had many activities: Theater, computer classes, Bocce Ball, Pickle Ball, Media Room etc. although not any fiber arts. They offered Townhomes, Single Family Homes and Maintenance Free Homes (where the developer provides all the external maintenance of the buildings and landscaping), something that really appealed to us. We liked some of the floor plans and they do offer to change the footprint, something Quail Creek does not offer. They are also within driving distance to Orlando and Tampa (which means Disney World and Caribbean Cruises). We still like Tucson better, but this development really pushed it.
