20060426 - Cadiz, Spain

Cadiz is one of the oldest cities in Europe, perhaps the oldest. The old quarter is composed of picturesque buildings, parks, and gardens intertwined with narrow cobblestone streets and squares. The city lies at the tip of a narrow isthmus. It has stone walls and a coastal walking path around the town. The ship arrived at 12:00pm and left at 8:00pm. We spent the afternoon walking around the outside edge of the town by the stone walls and beach area. It was another beautiful day.
