We stayed in a lovely campground on the Delaware River (see photos). Our site was on the upper area of the campground. We could walk down to the river beach.

After the Poconos we went to a campground in Mystic, Connecticut. Here we do not have sewer, so our new problem popped up. We were here for 2 nights so we could tour Mystic Seaport. Mystic Seaport was cool: historic houses & shops, lighthouse, tall ships, and horse & buggy rides representing life in a seaport in the mid 19th century. (see photos). We spent 5 hours walking around. There were lots of ships and ship paraphernalia. Rich got a chance to tour some tall ships and I got a chance to talk to a lady working on a display quilt with reproduction fabrics.

There were some lovely old houses across the river from the seaport. I love the look of these big old houses, but Rich tells me that I would not like to live in one as they require a fair bit of maintenance.

The only time I've ever been to the East Coast was to visit Steve, Sally, Scott, and David back in 1996. These pictures are fantastic.
