20061001 - Spokane

This week we drove from the Salt Lake City, Utah to Spokane, WA and spent most of the week with Rich’s cousin, John and his wife Ruthanne. Rich and John hit a bucket of balls at the range one day and played 18 holes at a local course on another day. John plays golf regularly (it is reasonably priced here in Spokane) and Rich is thinking of taking up the game once we get to Tucson. Some time ago John gave Rich a old club so that he could hit rocks as he walked Max. That never happened. Rich is planning on taking lessons if he decides to play. Ruthanne and I walked the local mall (I did 3 miles, she did 4) and did some shopping. Ruthanne works for Weight Watchers and worked several meetings while we were here. Max played with their dog Babs.

This coming week we will be driving into Seattle for my medical appointments. We will be staying at John and Ruthanne’s condo in the city and spending some time with 3 of their boys and their families as well as our Seattle friends.
