Olympia (9/11/2005)

This has been a quiet week for us. After Geege died (9/1/2005) we went to stay with Rich’s brother Ken and his wife Tina in their beautiful new home in Placerville, California. We spent a couple of days with them, did some sight seeing, shopping, and some wine tasting. We flew back to Seattle on Monday (9/4/2005). We got the fifth-wheel out of storage and moved into Lake Pleasant RV park in Bothell. Unfortunately, they did not have space for us to stay more than 3 days and then we had to move. We moved to Millersylvania State Park near Olympia. While we were there we did not have cell or computer access. Today we moved to Lakeside RV Park near Everett and we have cell service again. Hooray!
While we have been moving around I have been cleaning and rearranging our cabinets and drawers. It has almost been a year since we moved into the fifth-wheel and I now have experience in what we use frequently and what we do not. As a result I am moving some things into easier reach and others farther back. This was important to get done especially after our Alaska trip. We were so busy, many things did not get put away properly and it’s starting to get difficult to find things.
We will be staying here in Everett until next Monday (9/19/2005) when we start back-to-back 5 day cruises to Prince Rupert on Celebrity Cruise Lines. We did not plan on two cruises, but we made reservations on the network and somehow we made two. We made them so late that the cancellation fees were going to cost more than $700. Anyhoo, we decided to go on both cruises, worst case, we stay on board and relax for the second cruise. While we are on the cruises, the plan is to have the fifth-wheel in the shop getting some repairs from the Alaska trip. We will be back in Seattle on Thursday (9/29/2005). We will return to Everett for two days and then return to the Bothell Park for two weeks while I have my cancer check-ups.
