Bothell (10/09/2005)

It was another quiet week for us. We are back in our Seattle home park, Lake Pleasant in Bothell. I finished the design for two baby quilts and went to a couple of my old fabric shops and bought the material. I visited with friends (had lunch and went out for drinks with some of my work buddies). Its funny but since I retired I rarely dream about my old office, (where I used to dream all the time about it) but whenever I return to Seattle I get the same ole 'driving the bus from the back seat' dreams. I had my first medical appointment of this set, with my oncologist. My lymph nodes feel fine(according to the Dr) and my bone and liver enzymes are normal so I am in remission (hurray). Last but not least I went to a baby shower for one of my nephews Eric and his wife Anne Marie. This is the first baby for this side of the family and we are all very excited. The party was very nice; lots of old friends of the mom-to-be. After the party, the family (John and Ruthanne [Rich's cousin and his wife], Eric and Anne Marie [nephew and wife], Greg and Monica [nephew and wife], Chris and Louise [nephew and wife],) all had spaghetti dinner together with us.
