I was thinking today about what I wrote yesterday in the Blog. When I was setting up my quilting room in Seattle, I got a book on organizing sewing rooms. One of the comments in the book was that horizontal surfaces collect 5 times their surface size in stuff and that the largest horizontal surface in most rooms is the floor. In the book it was a warning to not allow this surface to collect clutter. In the house right now, not only is the floor the largest horizontal surface, in many rooms, it is the only horizontal surface. Ah well, every day it gets a little better. I keep experiencing these life lessons to help me learn patience. I sure wish it would take, but there it is again - impatience.
