House Painting

Today we did some touch up painting in the house. Our walls are textured and for some reason (technique, paint, texture) as the paint dries we see white in the valleys of the texture. As we look at the walls in different light, from different directions we see more or less of the old white paint, so we touch it up. One of the rooms I painted today was the Casita. Max came in to join me. He was looking, looking, looking. I could see his mind working. “I know there is a cat in here. I can smell it. I saw it before. Where is it?” When Bob & Connie were here they brought their cat Buddy with them. Buddy spent the first day and night in the Casita but he drove them crazy that night. The next night he spent in his home (their Fifth Wheel) and Bob & Connie had a good nights sleep. We still do not have many decorations yet so all the walls are pretty bare. First we have to get the painting done, then get furniture, then unpack, and then maybe something on the walls.

The Master Bedroom - not much furniture in there, just the bed and the bears. I am making more pillows but they are not done yet.

This is the bed in the Casita with it’s new bedding and Christine’s pillow. Pillow looks good in there. Thanks, Mark & Darcy for the bedding and Christine for the pillow.
