Tucson summer has arrived

Summer seems to have arrived here in Tucson. It is hot. This weekend we hit 3 digits. And the neighborhood seems to emptying out. Luckily for Rich and I, the electrician just finished installing our ceiling fans in the Study, Great Room, and Master bedroom. That coupled with the fact that the builder did an excellent job insulating the house has kept us comfortable without using the air conditioning. The car, however is a different story. The garage is not insulated nor is the car. That means we get a blast of heat every time we go anywhere.

Tomorrow I have my first appointment with my new Oncologist. He came here from Seattle and was recommended to me by one of my doctors there. When I spoke to my Seattle Oncologist’s nurse about sending my records, he (the nurse) knew him (the doctor); always a comforting sign.

Today Rich and I built my fabric shelves in the studio. As soon as I get it all organized, I will take some photos. I think it is going to be awesome.
