I love Max and most of the time he is a wonderful little dog, however…..
We went for a walk at my sisters house. It’s in Portland so the ground was a little wet. Now for the record, before we left Arizona, wanting Max to appear at his best I groomed him to within an inch of his life. I especially wanted him to make a good impression on Ken (Rich’s brother who also has a Bichon) So, back to the walk. Max found a puddle, and proceeded to do a Bichon Buzz through the puddle (Bichon Buzz => Run as fast as you can, turn on a dime, and run back as fast as you can. Repeat). After the Puddle Buzz he found a pile of dirt and rolled in it so that any remaining white spots would have the opportunity to turn brown. This was at Chris’s new house. Luckily Steve was able to spray most of the dirt off and I was able to dry him so he could at least enter the house, but no more little poof boy.
Now you remember I wanted him to be wonderful for Ken. Ken and Tina have a beautiful new house. New everything, elegant everything. When we arrived at the house Max raced around the front yard smelling everything. He then ran into the house, raced to the couch on the new carpeting and lifted his leg. Argghhh. Both Rich and Ken saw him and yelled which stopped him, just a little too late. He is a wonderful dog. He is a wonderful dog. Most of the time.
