20080109 - Montevideo, Uruguay

I am going back to our cruise to South America. I am still working from the end of the trip to the beginning.

On January 9th we docked in Montevideo. I took almost 500 pictures so you can imagine the editing job I have been doing. I am just guessing you are not interested in viewing 500 pictures here, especially of a place you never thought of visiting. It’s a very beautiful city. In the morning we walked a bit around the city, then in the afternoon we took a tour.

The city has many tree lined streets,

When we left, we had to have a tug push us out. The first time we had ever seen this, most of the time the ship‘s bow thrusters are up to the job..

That evening on the ship was the final formal dinner so they served Baked Alaska. This our bus boy with our Baked Alaska.
