This one is another split 9 Patch but for this one I had all the center squares red and varied the colors in the middle squares. I made this one before the peach quilt and like the peach setup better. The common middle fabric seems to blend together better. I had to really work to keep the directional fabrics right side up. This one is still a cute kids quilt.
We had another visitor. He was resting in the dust pan outside the Casita. The monsoon season has arrived. The other evening we had .8 inches of rain in a few hours. It is hard to imagine a frog in the desert even in the monsoon season, so I suppose he is a toad. (I wouldn’t know the difference) Not the prettiest being I have ever seen. And certainly not worth kissing even if you were looking for a prince.
