20080822 - Family
I can’t believe that it has been a month since my last blog. The big reason, I think, is that we went on a trip to California for a wedding of one of my nephews Justin, and then for a short visit to Las Vegas with Steve and his family. In between finishing a quilt (the wedding present), getting ready for the trip, making the trip, coming home, and getting back into the groove, apparently a month passed. I took my camera on the trip but actually took a very few pictures and none at all at the wedding, although my niece Rachel did take some wedding photos. I will identify her shots. This trip was very cool in that all five of my siblings were there for the wedding. My sister Sandy (from Portland) with her daughter Rachel (the photographer) and Rachel's daughter Lexie, my sister Christine (also from Portland), my brother Fred (from Alaska), my brother Steve (from New Jersey) with his wife Sally and their two sons Scott and Dave, and my brother Mark (the father of the groom). Here are some of the pics.
The Sorensen Siblings (From the left Steve, Sandy, Mark, Sue, Fred, & Christine)
Richard (My sweetie)
Sandy (Sorry Sandy this is a bit fuzzy but at least your were smiling)
I did not get a single photo of Rachel, not sure how I missed her unless it was because she kept hiding behind her camera.
And granddaughter Lexie
Christine (This is a great shot if I do say so my self)
Fred (very serious, pretty much his standard look)
Steve (I like this shot too)

This one is from the wedding, Thank you Rachel. I’ve heard Blues brothers, Matrix, and Men in Black, but whatever, a great photo - they clean up nice
